Badges

March 23rd, 2009 — 12:20pm

Sometimes you do need stinking badges. Like when you want to link back to Shovers and Makers from you blog or other website. Please feel free to use any of the images below. If you’d like, you can just copy and paste the HTML below each image.

These are all black and white because Steve designed them and he’s color-deaf. If you’d like to design another Shovers and Makers badge, please send it to nerdboys@shoversandmakers.net and we’ll probably feature it on this page. The “ransom note” font is the free Earwig Factory, though you shouldn’t feel constrained by that choice. Let’s see a Shovers and Makers badge with rainbows and unicorns and comic sans! Or OMGPONIES!!!1!!!

Mini: 80×15 pixels

The mini badge. For when you don’t have a lot of space or when you want to be excessively enigmatic.

Oh, Jenny. I’d say that’s just about perfect. I’ll have it posted to this page as soon as I can.

I do need to credit the very nice CC-licensed original pony photo that I completely trashed with Comic Sans for this sparklefest:

How about a 2010 version? Maybe with a Yiddish twist? Shovers and Machers (macher, (makher) important person; big shot a ‘mover” ..)
