I am the e-Learning Manager at the Halifax Public Libraries which means I cheer on anyone who learns news things using technology. Sometimes that’s online, sometimes it’s in a branch and alot of the time its in the broader community.
I totally shoved Podcamp Halifax 2009 (http://podcamphalifax.ca) sufficiently to help draw over 173 people to chat about technology and how it applies to business and community. I maked connections with a wide group of social networkers, all of whom are doing amazing things in their own right. I also keep our website running smoothly.
I’ve been blogging since 2005 on The Other Librarian where, among other things, I try to offer simple explanations of complex technical subjects.
