Michael Golrick
Despite my not having joined the “Library Society of the World,” I have been blogging from a different library perspective (as an administrator) for almost 4 years now.
Like Jason Giffey I am working to change ALA from within.
I now work for a state library agency in an unamed state. (And before you comment, Aaron Dobbs, it is not the state of confusion!)
I believe that a sense of humor (see above) and a sense of caring are the two most critical skills in a librarian.

Michael, I think after this you may as well give up and consider yourself a member of the LSW. Heck, appoint yourself an officer!

Maybe I could be either the “official curmudgeon” or just “that old guy.”
Someone posted that they remembered using the first graphic web browser, well I am so old, I remember when it was all just text — and I am so old I can’t remember what I used.
