Hi, I am Marie Tully, and I work at the Nevada Prevention Resource Center. The NPRC is a grant funded library and clearinghouse for information on substance abuse and related topics such as mental health. I am in charge of the selection and cataloging of materials for the library collection and distributing materials from the clearinghouse throughout the state of Nevada. I also update the website, create a monthly newsletter, produce promotional flyers, and interact with patrons.

Our program has been through an overhaul in the last year after a rough fight to keep our funding. I am proud to have been a huge part of making the overhaul successful, including working with IT staff to develop a new online ordering system and overseeing the redesign of our website. I have also worked to increase the number of organizations we collaborate with by doing a marketing mailing to the 90 public libraries in the state. We have happily made connections with several, and hope to make more, especially with those in rural areas that we are not currently reaching.
