*bows* Thank you for my nomination as a Shover and Maker and I gladly accept. It’s great to be recognized by such an amazing group of people.

I’m a liaison librarian at McMaster University and do a bit of this and that. As the weelibrarian, shoving sometimes requires a little more force but I’ve thrown my weight around this year.

I’m wrapping up Canada’s first institutional reference service in Second Life and was one of the first to bring my library to the virtual world.

I managed to shove my way into a vp position in the Ontario Library and Information Technology Association.

I also shoved my way to several conferences I’ve always wanted to attend (IFLA, CiL, IL, Access, NELI), talking at many of them and meeting amazing peeps and tweeps long the way.

Congrats to all my fellow award winners! Keep shoving and making!
