Jason Puckett

Jason is Iron LibrarianI’m so pleased to accept this award, although I can’t help but think that the arc reactor installed in my chest gives me an unfair advantage.

This has been a great year for me. First and foremost, I earned my MLIS from Florida State. The experience of three years of online learning gave me a lot of perspective on how good (and bad) online teaching can affect students.

In October I was excited to come back to my old stomping grounds at Georgia State University Library, this time as Instruction Librarian for User Education Technologies. I’m working on new ways to put the library’s learning resources online.

My blog is called Librarian X after my superhero alias. Starting next month, I’ll be co-producing the Adventures in Library Instruction podcast.
