Hey! Jason Griffey here, from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I’m a Shover & Maker because I’m desperately trying to help change LITA and ALA for the better, by helping to show them how they can share information and programming virtually. One thing I’m proud of this year was done in concert with Cindi Trainor and Roy Tennant and a bunch of other library geeks at ALA Midwinter, where we spontaneously covered the LITA Town Hall using Twitter, CoverItLive, Flickr, and a host of other tools. I’m trying to show that the members can take the power into their own hands, instead of relying on the organization to do it for them….which is more or less exactly what the LSW and S&M is about, right?
