I’m Iris Jastram and I’m the Reference & Instruction Librarian for Languages and Literature at Carleton College’s Gould Library in Northfield, Minnesota. I also blog at Pegasus Librarian and am a proud member of the Library Society of the World.
I’ve been Shoving and helping to Make a couple of big, messy, high-stakes collaborative projects work out here this year. I would never have guessed that I’m good at helping stakeholders work through disagreement and come to consensus, but hey! I also never guessed I’d be a Shover & Maker until just recently. Life is just full of surprises.

Since Rachel commented about this on Elizabeth’s post, I feel I should point out & cheer that Iris was a classmate of mine at the School of Information Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Go SOIS! GO IRIS! WOOOO!

I’m still trying to get Esha to join in the fun.
